Jeffrey H. Greger possesses a wealth of experience as an intellectual property attorney, gleaned from than two decades of practice. He has focused his practice on trademarks, copyright, and unfair competition matters. Mr. Greger has first chaired trademark and copyright federal court litigation. He drafts IP licenses, settlement and consent agreements, and assignments.
Mr. Greger’s legal acumen is trusted by colleagues both domestic and international. He primarily handles matters for clients from Europe, Asia, and Australia. Matters include trademark responses for Madrid Treaty prosecution, garden variety trademark application filing, prosecution and registration. He has managed the international trademark portfolios for U.S. clients using his trusted international colleagues. He has assisted with international trademark portfolios of McCormack Spice and Procter & Gamble. Trademark clearance searches have been a forte since early practice prior to law school. Mr. Greger can conduct trademark registrability clearance searches with pinpoint accuracy, speed, and affordability.
Mr. Greger is no stranger to federal court civil infringement actions in trademark and copyright matters. He has served as lead counsel in dozens of civil court matters and has represented clients in over a hundred USPTO trademark opposition and cancellation disputes.
Mr. Greger represents plaintiffs and defendant in the Eastern District of Virginia and offers local counsel services. His contacts across the United States enable him to represent clients in federal litigation across the U.S. Mr. Greger is admitted and argued in front of the Courts of Appeals for the First, Ninth, and in en banc matter in the Fourth Circuit appeal.
As a seasoned business counselor in trademark, unfair competition law, licensing, and brand protection, Mr. Greger guides clients to reasoned business solutions. Litigation is path of last resort. Whether representing plaintiff or defendant, cases are settled, compromises reached, and legal costs kept to a reasonable minimum. His legal experience and former experience as a business owner provides his fundamental basis for seeing the big picture, client’s ultimate goals, and settling litigated matters early if strategies so dictate.

2023 USPTO TTAB – Pending – Apple Inc. v. Zero Density v Apple Inc. representing Turkish software and hardware company as plaintiff and defendant in multiple TTAB oppositions over REALITY -formative trademarks sought by world famous Apple, Inc.
2023 USPTO TTAB Gavrieli Brands v. Kolon – Represented and successfully defended South Korean conglomerate Kolon Industries and defeated Italian manufacturer, owner of TIEKS brand shoes in trademark opposition.
